The Past Week

uuuggghhh finally some time to blog! I bought this cereal yesterday! apparently its the best for protien, omega 3-6 and its gluten and lactose free!

I've been so busy with work, basically they have me and my team working non stop 6 days a week at least 11 hour days.. last week i pulled a 14 hour day... I gotta say I died.

But everyday has been kinda the same, not to much working out (besides the half hour walk home everyday) and eating lots of fruits and veggies. No sugar, no snakc foods, no junk. Just whole foods and mostly raw.

Breakfast:
mixed frozen berries (blueberries, raseberries, strawberries, blackberries)
spinach or mixed greens

Lunch:
eaither a veggie sandwich, homemade veggie soup, or mixed raw vegetables like cucumber, carrots, and califlower.

Dinner:
Spinach or greens+berries+cucumber+parsley+ any other green vegetable I can find
stick it in a blender and make it a smoothie!

Today I'm gonna be honest, I failed at keeping healthy. All I had were pale or white startchy foods. It was bagel day at work so I had a whole wheat one without the cream cheese. Then I had the last bit of leftover penne... and of course it was pizza night at work so I had a slice of veggie pizza. The only green thing I consumed was a cup of green tea.

I sat and worked for about 13 hours straight today... without moving around or stretching which is really bad. I did go for a 30 minute run after work though (i just got back now and I'm still a little bit out of breath typing this) It really made me feel better. But now my poor stomach, I tortured it today.

Yesterday

I was so sore from the weekend I couldn't even hold a pen at work ahaha. Its embarrassing, muscles are hurting that I didn't even know existed.
So I didn't go to the gym yesterday. Instead I walked for about an hour up and down the hill by my house. I just wanted to take it easy on my body.

I also had a craving for sugar and I gave into it by eating a fruit leather bar and a blueberry muffin. ugghhh my brain just wants sugar so bad, all the time! I swear I'm addicted. It's weird though. Those cravings only come at night.

For breakfast I had an apple, celery, and carrots. For lunch I had mixed veggies with hummus, and for dinner i still had left over penne. So yup, I ate that.

Good Eats 02

For breakfast I had an apple with a cup of blueberries. My favorite is when I slice the apple up and put a bit of cinnamon on it. So tasty!


Lunch was celery, carrots, cucumber, and snow peas with an edamame hummus.



I had a super fun workout with some guys from work who were helping me tone my core and legs. I felt so energized after the workout. Its a nice change from slouching over a computer.

For dinner i just had a bowl of leftover penne from last night.

I think I drank about 10 glasses of water today, i couldn't stop!

Everytime I feel a craving for a sugary food or snack i drink a glass of water, that seems to really help! The perfect way to end the night is with a cup of hot water or herbal tea, it seems to stop my cravings in its tracks!

I'm going to try to post what I eat and drink everyday. I know it's boring but it will help me stay on track.
DAY01
 I was so thirsty this morning! i ended up drinking 4 glasses of water and a cup of tea.

In the afternoon I went out with some coworkers to sushi. I had miso soup, salad, vegetable roll, and of course another cup of tea.

in the evening after the arm workout rob and i went to a pasta place where the servings were HUGE. I only ate a small amount of my basil tomato penne.


after that I had a nice relaxing cup of camomile tea to end the day.

Let the workout begin!

Today was great, ended up meeting up with rob, who is stepping in as a personal trainer for me.
We got started on toning my arms today plus figuring out a weekly workout routine.

MONDAYS: arm & shoulder workout 45min
                      cardio 30min

TUESDAYS: jogging 30min

WEDNESDAYS: back & chest workout 45min
                       cardio 30min

THURSDAYS: jogging 30min

FRIDAYS: butt & leg workout 45min
                   cardio 30min

SATURDAY or SUNDAY: some fun exercise like dance, swimming, jump rope for 30min. Take one of these days off for rest.
and as always just watch what you eat and drink.

Going to the YMCA tomorrow with a few guys from work. I asked them to get my ass into shape by giving me a really tough workout. They say they're going to "break me" ha we'll see about that!
